Email from Noel Staley 10 October 2010: Anne STALEY {F} [P702]. I found Anne in the 1841 Census, she was living in Shettleston, Glasgow with her married sister Fortune Jaffray[Nee Staley] and Fortune's 2nd husband Patrick Jaffray[Born Ireland].
From information given to me, reputedly from a family Bible, Anne died in Cork, Ireland on 11 Oct. 1842. Regards, Noel Staley.

Is Isabella Greig related to Thomas Greig ? a James Hogg is a 2nd. Cousin of Thomas Staley Greig, James lived Main St. Muirkirk, 1893, Informant on T S Greig's Death Certificate.
James is living Main St. Muirkirk, in the 1891 Census, a 47 yo Coalminer, with his family. Possibly James is the son of Thomas/Thomson Weir Hogg and Sarah Greig [P695]
I'd love to sort them all out, no doubt you would too.

The snip below is from the will of Daniel Blyth, of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, written on 10 June 1885: '... of Fifty Pounds to my wifes cousin Thomas Staley Greig of 77 Shamrock Street Glasgow, the sum of Fifty Pounds to my neice Elizabeth Staley... '
I think I've found TS Greig in the 1881 Cenus as Thomas S Greig, Parish: Glasgow Barony; ED: 27; Page: 15; Line: 22; Roll cssct1881_228; I also have seen other references to this TS Greig in a diary of another relative, I have a copy of his death certificate, he died 29 Dec 1893 in Glasgow, aged 76. He did not marry, I have not found any documents re his birth.

I have locatedd his birth details from FamilySearch.org < https://www.familysearch.org/tree/pedigree/landscape/9N38-RGF> It states that He was born 22 Dec 1817 in Gasgow, Scotland.and died there in 3 Dec 1893, But I think perhaps he may have born in Muirkirk, Ayrshire as there is no current evidence that his parents were connected to Glasgow

I don't have any knowledge as to the fate of Thomas Greig [P686], I'd be interested in anything that you may have about him.
I found Anne in the 1841 Census, she was living with her married sister Fortune Jaffrey[Nee Staley] and Fortune's 2nd husband Patrick Jaffrey in Shettleston, Glasgow. From information given to me, reputedly from a family Bible, Anne died in Cork, Ireland on 11 Oct. 1842.
