William Gregg 10/12/1816 Glasgow Sheriff Court Inventories. 1 page SC36/48/11 residing at Muir Miln in parish of Muirkirk in co of Ayr

In 1851, William was living with his family as a shepherd in the town of Applecross, Ross and Cromarty. In addition to the family on the 1851 census, there was also an Anna STEWART living in the house, who was his cousin.
For the 1861 census, he was still a shepherd, but was living in the town of Lochalsh, Ross and Cromarty. He died on 13 February 1880 in Locharron, Ross and Cromarty.

William Married Margaret McKenzie(b.1797) at Lochalsh Ross & Chromarty on 24 Jan 1823.

THOMAS GREIG was born 1828 in Lochalsh, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland. Baptised 28 APR 1828 Lochalsh, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland. [IGI-C110742]. Thomas married Mary MACKENZIE at Ross and Cromarty. They had Mary GREIG b.1854, Baptised 25 DEC 1854 Applecross, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland. Died 3 FEB 1940 in Dornie, Burkes Pass, New Zealand. Buriied 5 FEB 1940 Burke's Pass Cemetery, Burke's Pass. Thomas then married Ann MCLENNAN ( b.1840 in Locharron, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland) on 24 MAR 1864 in Locharron, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland. Daughter Mary married Elijah Page SMART (b: 16 APR 1846 in Moulton, Northamptonshire, England) on 28 AUG 1878 in Andrew Burnett's House, Timaru, New Zealand. Mary & Elijah had 8 children. Thomas maried again to Ann MCLENNAN (b.1840 in Locharron, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland. Baptised 10 JAN 1841 Contin, Ross And Cromarty, Scotland) on 24 MAR 1864 in Locharron, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland

ANABELLA GREIG was born about 1840 in Kintail, Ross and Cromarty. In the 1851 census, she was a scholar in Applecross, Ross and Cromarty,1861, she was a domestic servant in Lochalsh, Ross and Cromarty, and for 1881 and 1891, a grocer in Locharron, Ross and Cromaty. A son, William PRIMROSE, was born about 1870 in Locharron, Ross and Cromarty. He is shown on the 1881 census with his mother .
